“In 1926 another brilliant flash of light revealed that the war of Armageddon was not to be a social revolution, as Bible Students once thought. Rather, it would be a war in which Jehovah will demonstrate his power so clearly that all people will be convinced that he is God.”

The organisation records that its earlier teaching had made Armageddon a human social upheaval rather than a divine war.
