Jehovah's Witnesses—Proclaimers of God's Kingdom (jv), “Chapter 7, footnotes on Beth-Sarim”

1993 · p.89 · footnotes · Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York

“A few years after Brother Rutherford's death, the board of directors of the Watch Tower Society decided to sell Beth-Sarim. Why? 'The Watchtower' of December 15, 1947, explained: 'It had fully served its purpose and was now only serving as a monument quite expensive to keep'”

Footnotes also quote Salvation (1939) on the house's purpose and note the deed was published in The Golden Age of 19 March 1930.
